PLTV is proud to announce a new WebTV program for the Polish community in the UK. This is the first program especially tailored for nearly 1 million Poles living in Britain. It offers a tremendous opportunity to reach this affluent, employed community that use a wide variety of consumer products.
Initially, a one-hour weekly program will be available as a video stream and as a download on the Internet, thus accessible throughout the world. It will cover the following topics:
- Making money ? how to find work, prepare for an interview; entrepreneurship
- I live here ? focus on areas where Poles live. Advise where to look for accommodation and how much it costs.
- Yes, Shopping ? tips and offers. Where to buy clothes, food, consumer electronics.
- What?s On next week ? Concerts, festival, theatre, film previews or reviews.
Many Polish people do not communicate well in English. PLTV will cover their needs by offering an interesting and exciting show. According to our pre-release survey suggest that there is going to be a success.
?Ever since Poland joined the EU in 2004 there has been a high influx of young Poles to the UK. Most of them don?t speak English, yet successfully find jobs and integrate with local community,? said Tom Tyranowicz. ?They enjoy spending money on goods and merchandise they could not afford back home. Many own a car and most have access to the Internet. We aim to reach this large community with our weekly program offering advise on how to live, work, run a business, where to go shop, and where to go.
There is no such program for nearly 1 million Poles in the UK. We want to fill the void.
Tom Tyranowicz is a program?s producer. He will be responsible for the WebTV production, marketing strategy and the company's management. Tom has over 15 year experience in management and advertising. He has also enjoyed a successful career as a photographer and recently, a video producer. |
